Bill Drake – Executive Director

Bill became Executive Director in January of 2012.    He was an educator for 10 years with the San Marcos CISD where he taught Speech & Debate, Special Education and Gifted & Talent and was the Ropes Course Coordinator for the District.  He is a graduate the University of Texas in Austin with a degree in Organizational Communication and received his Teaching Certification from Southwest Texas State University.  Bill’s wife, Elizabeth, is the District and High School Librarian for Burnet CISD and they have two grown daughters.  In his spare time he enjoys cooking and working in the yard.

Victoria Rucker – Marble Falls Unit Director

Victoria opened and ran the Burnet Teen Center from November 2016 through May 2017 before becoming the Marble Falls Unit Director in June of 2017.  She began her experience with the Boys & Girls Club Movement as a Youth Development Specialist for Marble Falls in 2007 then as a Grant Specialist for the Laguna Madre Club and an Athletic Coordinator for the Los Fresnos Club.  Victoria has a BA in Kinesiology and a Masters in Special Education.  Her two adopted and two foster children consume most of her time when not working for the Club.

Virginia Wallace – Burnet Unit Director

Virginia has been the Burnet Unit Director since May of 2008.  She is the longest employed staff member on the team and served as Interim Executive Director from September to December in 2011.  Virginia is currently working on her Bachelors in Business Administration from Central Texas College.  She has many interests but her favorite is photography.

Dominique Wallace – Burnet Teen Center Director

Dominique started as a Club Kid. She was in both the Torch Club and the Keystone Club.  She was a Junior Staff personnel and a Youth Development Specialist.  Dominique became the Teen Center Director in June of 2017.  She is a graduate of Burnet High School and is currently enrolled at Central Texas College.  If Dominique is not working at the Club you can probably assume she is traveling somewhere new and exciting.

Bernie Hernandez – Office Manager / Youth Development Specialist

Bernie started as a Youth Development Specialist at the Marble Falls Unit in June of 2017.  While she continues to help in that capacity she spends most of her time as the Office Manager.  Before joining the B&GC-HL team she was a substitute teacher for Opportunities Williamson & Burnet Counties’ Head Start Program in Burnet.  She was  born and raised in Burnet and graduated from Burnet High School.  Bernie enjoys being outdoors and playing sports with her three children.
